A little history of bits repeating.

Not everyone will recall the various games, intended or not, built into the early digital wrist watches but the quintessential, – the ‘pong’ – , of the genre involved double-tapping the stopwatch button.
Predating the mouse double-click, the most common versions of the game were:
- Stopping the timer at exactly 1.00 second
(it was still exciting at the time to control characters on screens) - Double-tapping as fast as possible
(less than 0.1 seconds considered ‘good’, given the sensitivity of the button)
